Not entirely: Breast lumps can be benign(Fibroadenoma) but if they are hard in consistency, they are more likely to be Cancerous. Fibroadenoma is commonly found in young women.At your age(78yr), I doubt that a physician can be certain that the lump in your Breast is a fibroadenoma. I would request a Biopsy be done to confirm the nature of this lump.
