Could be bug bite: It is possible for any insect bite to cause inflammation resulting in erythema (redness) resembling erythema chronica migrans, the rash associated with Lyme. You should send a photo, or better yet see a clinician if you were in a wooded area to insure it is not due to early Lyme Disease. The rash associated with lyme disease is often asymptomatic.
