A member asked:

What does a high absolute lymphocytes 4896 mean? there are other highs on my cbc but this was the highest!

A doctor has provided 1 answer

High end of normal: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your lymphocyte count is at the high end of normal. However, your enlarged nodes warrant an evaluation, especially in light of the lymphocyte count.
