Distal clavicle?: Have you ever injured left shoulder by falling on it? Trace your clavicle with your fingers out towards your shoulder. If the bump is out at the end of your clavicle, you have torn your acromial-clavicular ligaments. A very common hockey player injury from checking. They participate in sports and daily living without surgery. Occasionally, it requires surgery. I recommend clavicle shortening,
