Dr. Kirk Yen answered

Routine practice: The procedure of removing multiple teeth especially premolars are usually done in one office visit. This limits the pain to one time not multiple times. Unless there are medical reasons to limit the amount of surgery. If you are apprehensive about the procedure ask your dentist about using nitrous oxide or referral to an oral surgeon to perform a general anesthesia or IV sedation.
