Impossible to say: without knowing what KIND of benzodiazepine you took. It is NEVER a good idea to take medications that you do not need while pregnant. Some benzos, like Xanax, (alprazolam) is potentially harmful in pregnancy, and taken in the first 12 weeks can cause birth defects. Later in pregnancy benzos may slow the baby's respiration, particularly if there was a premature birth. If they test baby, can remain positive.
