Check liver tests: You should see a physician for a general exam and blood work to specifically evaluate your liver function tests. These will measure your bilirubin level and overall liver health. Discuss whether you have had any abdominal discomfort, change in bowel habits, weight loss or fever. This may not ultimately be any significant problem, but if you have noticed a change, it is worth getting checked out.
