Avoid if possible: The concern with Plavix (clopidogrel) and Omeprazole is that the action of Omeprazole may reduce how effective the Plavix (clopidogrel) is. I would be concerned that lanzoprazole, a cousin of omeprazole, may do the same thing and i tell my patients to avoid using them. Talk to your doctor.
