Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your ALT indicates liver cell damage and the cause needs to be investigated as the treatment would depend on the cause. In the mean time do not drink alcohol or take Tylenol (acetaminophen).
