Hard working heart: Hi keishat, depending on your level of mitral regurg, it sounds like your heart is increasing its rate to keep up with the body's need for blood. At 30, your heart can certainly handle this hr, but if you have symptoms(shortness of breath, weakness, palpitations)or as you get older, you may need to see a cardiologist about your faulty valve and be considered for replacement. hope that helps.
