Hello is it safe to take 360mg verapamil daily for chronic cluster headaches when you have a tiny mitral valve regurgitation 1/4?

Possibly: This is a question that your prescribing physician should answer. If you have a cardiologist, it would be good to make sure your cardiologist is aware of it.

Yes, usually: Their is no absolute contraindication with this class of drugs with your condition. It may lower your blood pressure some, but I never had that happen. If you get light headed, let your doctor know, but calcium channel blockers are sometimes used to treat this condition when there is accompanied rapid heart rate, so it may help kill two birds with one stone

You have one medication with multiple benefits. It has been estimated that 10% of cluster patients may not respond to medications and you are the lucky one. Take care.
