Best water vessel: Hi, not sure the background of this question, but, the simple answer is if it's clean and it holds water, it's probably safe to drink water out of it. There are certain water bottles made with BPA (a certain type of plastic). Avoid those as they can "shed" small amounts of chemicals with each use. Those chemicals have been known to increase hormone levels (not in a good way). cheers!

Nothing specific: Water can be drunk out of any container which can hold it with a convenient opening for your mouth. Glasses are very convenient but not "best". For instance most bottled water comes in a plastic container with a narrow outlet.
