Injection: Consider an ultrasound-guided injection of either a steroid or a regenerative biologic injection such as platelet-rich plasma or an amniotic membrane allograft that could be diagnostic and therapeutic. Also, consider referred pain from the spine. Don't give up. Continue to seek the advice of a musculoskeletal specialist.
