Do it in small incre: Your body can get deconditioned when you are not physically active like during chemotherapy. You can slowly regain your strength but do it in small increments and spend 4-6 weeks of slowly increasing physical activity like walking to start with, and add more strenuous exercise after 4 weeks of incremental exercise. Rest for 3-4 days till you recover from your Hiking related fatigue, then restart .
