A member asked:

How does a cancer patient deal with the large fatigue issue at home following chemotherapy? specifically, is there a medication for this side effect?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fatigue is common: Many patients receiving chemotherapy feel tired. The causes can be due to low hemoglobin(Anemia), lack of sleep or depression. Your oncologist can determine the cause and treat it. In general we recommend increased daily activity/exercise such as walking daily . This will provide extra strength after some period of daily practice.
