Can take 9-12 months: Keep having sex once or twice a day during the fertile days. Stay happy; keep smiling. The fertile days are about days 10-15 in a 28-day cycle. Of course, if a couple has sex every one or two days throughout the month, they don't have to think about fertile days. Some get pregnant the first time they have sex; others take 9-12 months of sex. Ask the Ob-Gyn for help if not pregnant after 9 months.
