I have painful cold sores inside mouth (tongue, lips, gums). it started with fever/chills, soar throat, headache, swollen glands. now on antibiotic. cannot eat anything than milk due to bad irritation of my tongue. what can i do to calm it and eat?

Cold sores: Your symptoms describe what is probably a viral infection, not bacterial. Antibiotic therefore probably the correct treatment. There are antivirus, topical so, and anesthetic rinses that may help. Talk to your Dentist.
