Odd statement: Group A strep is the throat germ, not B.B is a normal germ in the digestive tract that occasionally causes UTI's in women or sickness in newborns. Throat pain is a reflection of tissue damage and improves gradually,within a few days.Ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory that can give some relief as will throat lozenges/gargling.
