Dunno but ...: Yr lung snugly fits inside your rib cage. Occasionally it can collapse. A chest tube is then inserted and your lung then expands once again to fill the space that it did before it collapsed. Other than that, I don't know what you are talking about. Perhaps you misheard or misunderstood him?
