It contains iron: Daily vitamins-plus-minerals are usually fine, because the amounts of vitamins and minerals are not high enough to cause problems. This assumes that a person is not taking other unusual amounts of supplements, or eating unusual amounts of certain foods (such as too much liver, or too much kale). However, while IRON is required for life, excess iron is toxic. Only take extra iron when truly needed.
