Dr. Rick Pospisil
Specializes in Orthopedic Surgery
Achilles tendonopath: Use. Boot and NSAID for one week , then advance with cycling only for a week , after which u can start up with treadmill or stair stepper . You should use half inch heel lifts in all of your shoes to reduce force going across your Achilles with each step. Monitor your progress . Reducing activity if pain is increased , stay on consistent use of NSAID for 4-6 weeks
