Is a boot or a cast an option for me after having my achilles removed? would it be necessary for the rest of my life

Achilles Removed: More information would be helpful regarding the necessity of removing the achilles tendon. A boot or cast will be necessary during the initial convalescence, but, certainly some type of long term brace will be needed for your day to day ambulatory activities...Further surgery may be required to provide stability in you foot and ankle, as well !
