No: Prominent conjunctival blood vessels increasing with age is primarily due to the thinning of connective tissues under the conjunctiva called tenon's capsule. This is why baby's eyes appears so white because of A very thick tenon's capsule. Furthermore, blood vessels tend to dilate more with irritation, whether from dryness, environmental exposures, UV, allergies and inflammation/infections.
