Can be normal: Athletes can have a mildly dilated left ventricle due to chronic exercise. If you are not an athlete, hypertension or a heart valve abnormality could be the cause. The best approach would be to get a careful medical exam.

Left ventricular: Cavity dilation is best diagnosed using an echocardiogram. Thallium stress is not the best standard for this.
