I had a biopsy on several lymph nodes, and the doctor said they were dead. i don't know if non-functional or atrophic--the doctor just said dead.

Scarred: Some lymph nodes just fade away leaving behind scarred tissue after the acute immune response is over. The question is why was the biopsy performed in the first place.
