Typically this sound: is generated when a little tendon or other structure in the complex wrist joint shifts around a bone. This is more common in some with unique anatomy or as a result of injury, perhaps not recognized. If there is no pain or restricted motion it is probably fine to just watch it. Most would suggest trying to avoid making it happen; theoretically it might make the tendons looser. Stay well:)
