Guided imagery for relaxation and visualization as part of exposure therapy and systematic desensitization may help. The worst case scenario is that you will need to see a psychiatrist or other medical provider for a brief trial of an anxiolytic if needed until you make it to and from your destination safely.

Relaxation Response: technique can hold you over until you get home. See www.relaxationresponse.org Then consider seeing a mental health professional for treatment. If medication is offered that may be ok but don't let it be the entire treatment. We all can get uncomfortable outside of our safe space. Peace and good health.
