If a cut were to get infected would it show all signs of infection i.e swelling,fever,puss,redness or is it possible it would just show just 1 sign?

Cardinal Signs.: Depending on the age and nature of the cut, if infected, there could eventually be swelling, puss, redness and more than likely pain. The fever may take some time to develop but it too can be present. Remember that inflammation, also, can also be demonstrated by swelling, redness and pain. In cases of inflammation, an infection may not be present. Go figure.
