Sore Wrists: Joint pain is a nonspecific symptom. It can come from overuse, arthritis, infection, tumors, nerve compression and a number of other causes. Carpal tunnel syndrome sometimes presents as a sore wrist, but is typically associated with numbness, too. Additional medical history, examination and testing should be helpful.
