A phobia: is an irrational fear. Crowds can trigger anxiety because we feel out of control and/or out of our comfort zone. Please see your doc to rule out medical conditions and consider seeing a mental health professional to learn ways to cope w/anxiety. Clinical hypnosis is but one possibility.
