Hard to say: First, is it a documented UTI or just symptoms, which could be several things? (vaginitis, STD,reaction to bath soaps, genital sprays, etc). Some germs involved might self heal while others might ascend your urinary system and attack your kidneys, leading to long term problems. Proper treatment relies fist on accurate diagnosis.

Maybe, but why???: UTIs usually clear up on their own, but it can take a long time. Why in heaven's name would you not be treated? The chance of a serious complication of UTI, even death, is much higher than the risk of a serious antibotic reaction. Also, at your age, assuming you're sexually active, STDs often mimic UTIs. Don't be dumb; see a doctor for diagnosis and treatment. Good luck.
