Is there any evidence of long term after effects of fluoroquinolones? i am reading alot about these meds damaging the body long term

Unlikely: Almost any drug can cause side effects while taking them. With fluroquinolones, common ones include minor mood changes, skin rash if allergic, and rarely painful tendon rupture with strenuous activity, especially the achilles tendeon. However, there are few if any important long term effects after the antibiotic is stopped. Search online for side effects or toxicity for any particular drug.
