Light stool: light colored stools can be a sign of the blockage of bile out of the common bile duct. Sometime this is caused by gallstones lodged in the duct, and less commonly by a tumor blocking the duct. A good initial test is an abdmominal ultrasound, as well as repeating your bloodwork, including LFT's and pancreatic enzymes. See your doctor.

Could be the liver: Yes sir. It could be associated with liver problem. It also depends on if there is any alcohol consumption and if yes then on the quantity of alcohol consumed which may elevate the AST and may also be linked to liver problems. It would be advisable to see you primary care physician to evaluate this further.
