Liver: A viral liver infection, hepatitis or infectious mononucleosis, rather than a simple stomach virus, is the likely cause of these elevated liver enzymes. A reaction to medication or some other toxicity is a less likely cause. Your physician or a gastroenterologist can order the appropriate tests to make a diagnosis.
