I am recovering from rmsf, and a volunteer at the local va hospital. after a month on prednisone, should i have a tb test? will it be harmful?

You should not: have a TB test while on prednisone or just off it. It can alter the results of the TB test. Wait for at least several weeks that you've been off the prednisone before taking the test.
