Ankle: It sounds that by the mechanism of your ankle twisting outward that you may have strained your Deltoid ligament on the inside of your ankle and may have irritated the capsular structures. If I's rest and elevation and a compressive wrap have not helped then and and evaluation and x-rays maybe warranted by an orthopedic surgeon
