Not at all: But your first "step" (sorry) is to get it properly diagnosed. Was it a sprain, a ligament tear or perhaps even a little fracture? You'll need an x-ray to start, and perhaps a sonogram or even an MRI if things are complicated. The last thing you want to do is walk around with a fracture or tear. You're young and apparently healthy, so don't risk a lifetime of residual pain by ignoring this.
