Recently referred young patient to Oral Surgeon for pre-Orthodontic extractions. Parent never listed Malignant Hyperthermia on our Med Health Form, but fortunately did disclose to Oral Surgeon. With that knowledge OS altered choice of anesthesia and patient did marvelously well. Fully disclose Med Hx to your Oral Surgeon. Anesthetic choices are part of his/her training & experience.
