A member asked:

I had my tubes tied six years ago and here recently when i got a pelvic ultrasound done they said it didn't look like my tubes were tied...i've had no?

Probable error: Since it is not likely that the patency of a Fallopian tube can be determined by a sonographic exam, it seems probable that "they made an error" or that you were simply misinformed . A hysterosalpingogram (not a pelvic ultrasound) is the usual XRay test that can reveal that your tubes were or "were not tied".
