Normal: Many people are thin, without much body fat, lean and with age our normal hand veins dilate. They can be treated or closed with sclero therapy , usually 2-4 sessions for cosmetic results. See a phlebologist, a vein specialist who does many of these treatments. www.phlebology.org.

It is normal: I agree with dr morrison thin people without much body fat hand veins show more & also as we age our normal hand veins show more as skin thins. They dont need to be treated but they can be treated or closed with sclerotherapy if they are a cosmetic concern, it usually takes 2-4 sessions for cosmetic results. See a phlebologist, a vein specialist who does many of these treatments. www.phlebology.org.
