More details: You will need to contact the ordering physician and ask for clarification. It is physiologically normal for most women to have some fluid in the cut de sac. You will need to have the doctor interpret your specific sonogram report to find out if yours was normal. If your sister has ovarian cancer you may qualify for BRCA genetic testing.
