Yes: Pap tests are only a screening test for cervical cancer. Unfortunately, there are no screening tests for uterine or ovarian cancer, although research is continuing. However, if you are experiencing symptoms, gynecologists should first perform a pelvic exam. A pelvic ultrasound or endometrial biopsy can also be helpful depending on your symptoms. Discuss options with your doctor.
