Not a good idea.: Please check with your primary provider to confirm the reason for your throat pain/sore throat. Usually you need a throat culture to check that you have a true bacterial infection before taking a strong antibiotic like clindamycin. ALL antibiotics must be taken in full to completely treat a diagnosed infection so as to prevent the likelihood of antibiotic resistant bacteria and worse infection
