Below: The amt of radiation from 4 xrays is minimal. We try to limit the number of xrays patients have. Your health care provider would not order an Xray if it was not necessary. And they always try to limit the exposure when ordering a test.

4 is fine.: Per Dr. Komaroff: "simple chest x-ray (3o views) exposes a person to an ave. of 0.01 mSv, or roughly the amount of radiation you get in a day from the natural background." "American College of Radiology recommends limiting lifetime diagnostic radiation exposure to 100 mSv.
