See below: Assuming you mean burning or increased feeling of warmth in these areas, it most likely is due to a nerve. May be an inflammatory condition. Hard to say without examination.

Hot Foot.: It is important to actually know if the temperature of the foot is actually warmer or just feels warmer. The warmth feeling, actual or not, can be due to a host of different conditions. Included, but not limited to, are neuropathy, blood clot, diabetes and even a vitamin deficiency. I suspect, since it is only one foot, it could be due to a localized nerve irritation.
