Yes!: Ask that a second pathologist read the slides. Also the surgeon removed a mass of what to him/her looked like suspicious tissue and it is great that they found nothing bad,, but you should always discuss the findings with him and request that the slides be read by another surgical pathologist at a different hospital. Hopefully there really was nothing there to be seen and he was just being overly
