Test results: All of those test results were within the normal range. But you must understand that tests must always be interpreted in a context. If I tell you that I know a guy who weighs 275 lbs. and ask you if you think that is OK, you might say he sounds like he might be overweight. Then I mention to you that he is 6'10" basketball player and you say that he is fine. Everything in context!

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, if a repeat fasting blood glucose level is about 7.4, that would be diagnostic of diabetes. Your MCV is low. It would be prudent to discuss these results with the doctor who ordered the tests.
