Depends: The appearance/radiological description of a lung infiltrate can be helpful, but still non specific, unless it is part of the overall evaluation of the patient. In other words, the most accurate diagnoses depends on accurate history taking, physical examination, chest x ray description/appearance, and some bloodwork.
