Tingling postsurgery: The cuticle may be trapped down onto the nail bed and needs to be loosened up. As long as it does not hurt, try using a softening cream or lotion and massage the base of the nail 3 times a day for 2 minutes to see if that eases the tingling. See the surgeon when you can.
