I had idiopathic pe a year ago. had micro blood in urine whole time. now fasting blood sugar 107 in morning. scared of pancreatic cancer as cause?

Hypercoagulability: Your fasting glucose level is OK. F/U with your HEM/ONC to prevent further clots and to check your labs. You may need to have your medication adjusted if you are having hematuria. No need to worry: When cancer is the cause of veinous thrombosis or embolism(VTE) it is usually apparent at the time of the VTE, or becomes apparent in the next few months. If a year has gone by since the VTE it's VERY UNLIKELY due to hidden cancer. Studies show only a tiny increased risk of a yet undiagnosed cancer at 1 year.
